Modified installer to handle correctly placing files into non-default location. Minor usability fix in Counters dialog.

Starting with this version Systemometer goes freeware. Enjoy complete set of features available on Windows NT/2000/XP/2003!

Also, this release adds limited support for Windows Vista. In order to access performance data Systemometer will prompt to confirm elevation to Administrator privileges. However screen saver is not supported for Windows Vista at this moment due to operating system restrictions on accessing performance data in screen saver mode.

Installation Instructions

Before installing Systemometer 1.6 you may want to uninstall the previous version of this software. Make sure to create a backup copy of any existing monitoring profiles that you have created. They are compatible with the new version and will work as well.

Systemometer package comes in MSI format that is recognized by Windows as an installable component. Double-click on the Systemometer-Setup.msi (for Windows NT/2000/XP/2003) or Systemometer-Vista.msi (for Windows Vista correspondingly) and you will see the first screen of the Setup Wizard. It will guide you through the steps required to install Systemometer on your computer. Follow the instructions provided by the Setup Wizard. After installation, to start Systemometer double-click the Systemometer icon on the computer Desktop.

If your machine does not recognize MSI files, apply the latest update (Service Pack) for your Windows system.
