Hello! A new version of feedly is now available. Here are some of the key highlights:
First, we reworked the Google Reader integration so that feedly does not create any tags in Google Reader and does not import any shared items feeds.
Second, we streamlined the user interface to better address the needs of users who need to scan lots of articles from a large number of sources. We also removed some of the clutter while trying to maintain the magazine look and feel.
Third, we significantly improved quality and stability through better performance as well as hammering out bugs related to unread counts being out of sync.
Finally, we are introducing a new concept called the feedly sidebar which allows you to take your Google Reader, feedly and friendfeed accounts to the web sites you visit directly in the browser. Sidebar will help you automatically mark articles as read, tweet articles and see friendfeed conversations.
